The events space at Understory is located on the top floor of the historic Open Air building in Old North Columbus. The room has a 120-person capacity depending on the style of the evening being hosted and includes an outdoor terrace.

Corporate Events and Meetings
From business meetings and casual gatherings to celebrations, the Fieldhouse can be transformed to meet your needs. This room can hold up to 100-120 guests for a seated, buffet or family style meal for networking, corporate dinner or cocktail type gathering. Invite your team for an all-day meeting, presentation meeting, short lunch or afternoon board meeting. Don’t forget to stay for happy hour in the lounge or listen to music on the Commons patio downstairs.

Dinner Parties, Charity Events and Celebrations
Graduation, charity events, birthday, baby shower, retirement, or celebrations of life, we want your special moments to become memorable. The light brick walls, beautiful wood floors, high ceilings and open-air style will compliment any type of gathering for up to 100-120 guests. You can mingle on the entire second floor with connected rooms and an open-air patio for cocktails and watching the sunset.

Weddings and Rehearsal Dinners
Your intimate ceremony can be held in our beautiful Classroom lined with windows overlooking the Olentangy River then on to the reception in the Fieldhouse. From 50 to 100 guests, they will love the beautiful natural wood floors, high ceilings and beautiful arch windows. The soft chandelier lighting creates a gorgeous intimate backdrop for your guests and family members to enjoy!
